Position Title: Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction
Base Salary: $91,310 to $135,591 annually DOE
Bonus: Target annual bonus

Job Summary
The Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction will be responsible for managing the quality, on-budget,
and timely delivery of fiber services to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development• Lead an internal OSP construction team that includes union and non-union employeesperforming multiple disciplines.• Provide leadership and mentorship to outside plant (OSP) team through coaching, feedback,development goals and performance management.Project Oversight & Accountability• Accountable for the staffing, capital budgets, schedules and compliance associated with OSPconstruction projects, along with the safety and quality of work performed.• Resolve OSP roadblocks.• Issue work orders to internal and external resources while following established companyprocesses and procedures.• Verify contractor’s invoices for accuracy.Planning & Execution• Identify fiber routes, building entry, and internal routing requirements necessary to completethe project.• Develop, coordinate, and execute project schedules with contractors, property management,customers, vendors, internal stakeholders, municipalities, and government agencies.Quality Assurance & Compliance• Inspect active construction projects to ensure that we are following company, municipality orgovernment agency guidelines, and any other relevant guidelines related to the installation ofZiply infrastructure.• Complete post construction plant walk-out including as-builts necessary to fulfill companystandards, utility, and local government requirements.Documentation & Communication• Coordinate and participate in various internal meetings to ensure communication andalignment of initiatives, information sharing and implementation of best practices.• Serve as a market neutral SME on fiber construction solutions and best practices.• Oversee the documentation of OSP construction projects.Availability & Other Duties• Participate in on-call schedule rotation which includes after hours and weekends.• Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization.
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED.• Minimum of eight (8) years of outside plant (OSP) experience, including splicing and construction.• Advanced understanding of fiber splicing and installation practices, proper safety constructionpractices and network topology.• Advanced understanding of the permitting process for railroad, DOT, cities, counties, and poleowners.• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.• Must complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing capital budgets preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Developed leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and lead others.• Ability to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.• Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety ofsituations.• Knowledge and experience in outside plant engineering and installation/construction.• Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines.• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.• Ability to work within critical deadlines.• Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.• Ability to provide excellent customer service.• Proven ability to lead, facilitate, develop and motivate a cross-functional team in a competitiveenvironment.• Possess a general understanding of utility accounting practices.• Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of R.U.S (515) contract policies and procedures.• Working knowledge/experience of engineering support systems and highly skilled in Microsoft PCapplications such as Word, Excel.

Work Environment
Work is often performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive
use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
