Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:


The Integrations Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation of Cano Health’s cultural attributes and behaviors, processes, and services to acquired and newly built practices. The Integration/ Denovo Specialist provides onsite/remote training and support to new practices while completing tasks from integration and Denovo project plans, assuming all integration and Denovo deadlines. This team works with Denovos and acquisitions through the integrationstarting with the due diligence phase through post-close initiatives. The Integration Specialist will independently coordinate project tasks and coordinate internal and external communications between individuals that play a role in the acquisition’s integration process.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 


  • Coordinate activities related to the integration of acquired practices and Denovos by working with all departments and stakeholders to ensure proper set-up and transition into the Cano Health organization.
  • Serve as a liaison between Cano Health and target/acquired practice, addressing questions and concerns that arise from both groups. 
  • Coordinate site visits, interactions, and communications between Cano Health and target/acquired practice to eliminate redundant inquiries and streamline the flow of    information. 
  • Apply project management knowledge and skills to document, track and report on the progress of integration projects. 
  • Meet the deadlines and goals set by the Cano Health leadership team as it relates to integration and Denovo projects. 
  • Participate in Due Diligence meetings and other activities that advance the collection, analysis, and documentation of information and data pertinent to the integration process.  
  • Provide onsite support to acquired practices, as needed, and maintain regular contact and follow up throughout the integration phase.
  • Coordinate transition of practice support and oversight to Regional Operations team ensuring all relevant knowledge and information necessary to successful operations is documented and shared.  
  • Support the Director and Manager of Integrationwith any issues, duties and/or responsibilities, as assigned. 


ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Update and present “Pre-Close” and “100 Day” trackers of projects assigned. 
  • Participate in all weekly Integration and Denovo meetings  
  • Provide support to all newly acquired associates with any questions they may have. 
  • Assist in integrating all of Cano’s platforms and Cano Health services 
  • Ensure all employees demonstrate exceptional customer service and follow all company policies and procedures.         
  • Submit monthly expenses to Integration/Denovo Manager in a timely fashion. 

                                                                                                                                             

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school  
  • Two years or more related experience and/or training. Prior experience in a healthcare business setting is preferred. 
  • Project Management experience is a plus. 
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint knowledge, ECW, and other IT programs preferred.  


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & PROFICIENCIES: 

  • Must feel comfortable presenting and public speaking.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and all levels of management. Must maintain professional demeanor and confidentiality and possess the ability to think and act independently. 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish 
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time and be very results oriented. 
  • Professional and articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication and telephone skills.  
  • Possess a disciplined approach to solving problems that gathers sufficient information and engages all perspectives. 
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills to follow assignments through to completion, with a results-based focus. 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 

This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

TRAVEL: 


The Integration/Denovo Specialist position requires driving and travel. Local and overnight travel required, including extensive driving and flight travel required for up to 5 days per assignment.  

 

Reliable personal vehicle required for local travel, eligible for mileage reimbursement based on standard IRS reimbursement rates.
