Job Summary 


The Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring that key projects and engineering duties are fulfilled by the engineering team. Assist with solving engineering issues that arise through the normal course of project activities.  

 

Essential Functions

  1. Collaborate with other department managers and leadership to set and assess priorities for the engineering team
  2. Assign tasks to engineers and gauge progress of various projects
  3. Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to create new products
  5. Manage department budget for projects
  6. Train and mentor current and future staff in product development and engineering
  7. Design and engineer products for our standard product lines
  8. Design and engineer custom products to meet specific customer requirements

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, or similar disciplines. 
  • 3 years of experience in management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with sheet metal
