OhioGuidestone has launched a new initiative to bring primary physical health services to compliment the behavioral health services we traditionally offer! We have a newly established health center focused on an integrated, whole-person approach to care—addressing physical, mental, and preventive health needs in a collaborative setting. We strive to improve patient outcomes by combining compassionate care with innovative outreach and education.
We are seeking a motivated and personable student intern interested in healthcare, sales, and community engagement. This role provides hands-on experience in medical sales strategies, patient outreach, and practice growth. The intern will play a key role in increasing patient volume by building relationships, promoting services, and supporting marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing patient outreach strategies to increase awareness and appointments
Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, gyms, and schools
Educate potential patients and partners about the center’s integrated, whole-person care model
Support referral network development with other healthcare providers
Conduct market research to identify target demographics and growth opportunities
Assist with social media, email campaigns, and promotional events
Track outreach efforts and help analyze effectiveness of marketing strategies
Provide general administrative support related to patient acquisition efforts
Learning Objectives:

Qualifications:
Current student or recent graduate (Business, Marketing, Pre-Med, Biology, Public Health, or related field preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in healthcare, wellness, or medical sales
Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
Comfortable engaging with community members and professionals
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Experience with social media or marketing tools
Basic understanding of healthcare systems or patient care models
Sales, customer service, or outreach experience
