Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  1. Maintenance
    • Deep knowledge of comprehensive maintenance strategy in the field of power distribution, motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and varied electrical fixtures.
    • Solid knowledge of utility installation and functionality.
    • Conduct infrared analysis and field equipment examination using specialized thermographic imaging and digital cameras.
    • Implementation and records periodic electrical testing and recommend or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
    • Ensure accurate implementation of maintenance program including monitoring, getting update performance data, evaluation and address necessary action to follow up in maintenance planned and all protective maintenance duties.                                         
  1. Safety Health & Environment
    • Ability to recognize hazards and take measures to avoid and mitigate for less severity & risk.
    • Knowledge of precautions necessary for ensuring a safe work environment for self and coworkers.
    • Demonstrate safe and clean work habits, proper care in utilizing and store supporting equipment and tools.
  1. Troubleshooting
    • Repair and replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and varied electrical fixtures.
    • Trouble shoot & diagnoses cause of electrical malfunction/failure throughout utilities & operational facility equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
  1. Electrical Installation
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.                             
    • Install new or modified electrical installations consistent with local and national codes. Plan electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring.
    • Test solid-state circuitry to determine defective components in analog and digital equipment along with defective parts replacement.
    • Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry. Assembles and tests experimental motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Minimum education: SMU/SMK, preferably majoring in Electrical
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of P&ID, Single Line Diagram, Electrical Control & Circuitry, Maintenance Strategy, and Food Processing Requirements
  • Familiar with Personal Hygiene, HACCP/Food Safety, GMP, Halal, Environmental Impact & Control, 5S, Quality Systems, Allergen Management, and Safety Standards
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards and codes
  • Solid technical expertise in motor control systems, switch panels, transformers, generators, solenoids, and other electrical components
  • Familiar with Utilities & HVAC systems, PLC, and Control Systems
