POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Our teachers are responsible for delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in a structured and engaging learning environment that empowers students to reach their full academic potential. This role combines strong instructional practice, effective classroom management, and meaningful collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Excellence & Academic Rigor

  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that promote critical thinking and active learning

  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

  • Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress

  • Integrate technology and varied instructional strategies to enhance learning

  • Provide timely, actionable feedback to drive achievement

Classroom Culture & Student Engagement

  • Establish clear expectations and maintain strong classroom management systems

  • Foster a safe, respectful, and academically focused learning environment

  • Support students’ academic growth while encouraging personal responsibility and resilience

Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain consistent communication with families regarding student progress and needs

  • Partner with colleagues, support staff, and administration to ensure student success

  • Participate actively in department meetings, campus initiatives, and school events

  • Engage with families and community partners to strengthen student outcomes

Professional Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements

  • Reflect on instructional practice and pursue continuous professional growth
