    This is for an Extended School Year (ESY) program and is considered a BOCES ESY position.

    LOCATION OF POSITION:  Fairport NY 14450; Various Locations

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026; Hours TBD by location. A mandatory planning meeting may be scheduled per program assigned in. For all BOCES Programs Pre and Post summer trainings and set-up as directed.

    Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:
    June 2nd = Transition/Employment
    June 3rd = O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)                                                                                               
    June 10th = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan

    SALARY RANGE: $32.33 - $52.43 per hour (or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff
    *Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

    DUTIES:
    1.  Implement services to meet goals/objectives of student IEP.
    2.  Participate in team meetings and classroom related activities of the summer program.
    3.  Generate summary reports, or other required paperwork within the scope of the summer program.
    4.  Work collaboratively with teachers, classroom teams, and program administrators.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1.  NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired required.
    2.  National Certification in Orientation and Mobility preferred.
    3.  Applicants must commit to working the full 30-day Summer School Program.
    4.  If assigned to BOCES programs, attend a mandatory planning meeting.
    5.  Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).

    Employment is contingent upon student enrollment and availability of programs.
