We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart and blood vessel conditions. You will perform non-invasive and/or invasive diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, stress tests, and catheterization support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests such as ECG/EKG, Holter monitoring, and stress testing
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and angioplasty procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures
- Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment
- Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate patient records and test results
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological, Cardiovascular and/or Respiratory care program
- Experience with scrubbing into and assisting physicians with vascular procedures
- RVT or equivalent preferred, registry eligible acceptable.
- BLS/AED/ACLS training required and accepted from the American Heart Association. No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
Skills, Knowledge or Abilities
- Independent individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills required in order to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, physicians, outside agencies and other hospital staff.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Strong computer skills a must.
- Knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Record, radiology scheduling and insurance authorization.
USD $49.91 - USD $57.74 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location.
