Position Summary

Sustainable Beef is seeking motivated graduating high school seniors to participate in our Summer Work Program. This program is designed to provide meaningful work experience in a professional production environment while developing foundational skills in safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Participants will support daily operations under the direction of supervisors and experienced team members while adhering to all company policies and safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks in production or support areas under direct supervision
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and work instructions at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals
• Report safety concerns, near misses, injuries, or equipment issues immediately to management
• Participate in required training and follow all guidance provided by supervisors

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a graduating high school senior
• Ability to work full-time hours during the program duration
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment
• Must be 18 years of age or older at the start of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift, push, or pull materials consistent with job assignments
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)

Work Environment

This position operates in an industrial production environment and may include exposure to:

• Cold or warm temperatures
• Loud noise levels
• Machinery and equipment

All work assignments will be structured to comply with applicable safety standards.
