Job Description

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is expanding its Community Radiology section. We are seeking full-time diagnostic radiologists with fellowship training in abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, or breast imaging to join our growing regional hospital practice in Middle Tennessee. As a Community Radiologist, you will have the opportunity to focus on your primary specialty while also interpreting other modalitites. Remote and Hybrid reading options are available.

 

Position Summary:

  • Combination of subspecialty and general radiology
  • Services provided to VUMC Regional Hospitals, which include Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, Vanderbilt Bedford County Hospital, and Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital
  • Focus on well-being, with a culture of collegiality, collaboration and creativity
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Remote or hybrid reading options available

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fellowship training in abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology or breast imaging
  • Hold an MD or equivalent degree 
  • ABR eligible/certified 
  • Eligible for Tennessee medical license 
  • If hybrid or on-site, comfort/willingness to perform routine fluroscopy/CT/US-guided procedures
