Role Overview
Obra Capital is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the firm’s Senior Investment Professionals in its New York (Midtown) office. This role requires a seasoned administrative professional who can operate with a high degree of judgment, confidentiality, and autonomy while managing multiple priorities in a demanding investment management environment. The Executive Assistant will also serve as a liaison with the Board of Directors, investors, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to C-suite executives, including complex calendar management and scheduling
- Manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and sound judgment
- Arrange domestic and international travel and accommodations; prepare and submit expense reports
- Coordinate and organize internal and external meetings
- Prepare and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint materials, including presentations, agendas, reports, and briefing materials
- Draft and prepare correspondence for executives, including communications related to board matters and internal announcements
- Serve as a professional point of contact for investors, board members, and senior stakeholders
- Manage executive contacts and maintain accurate records
- Screen calls and emails; respond to inquiries and route matters appropriately
- Maintain responsiveness to emails, texts, and calls, with some availability outside normal business hours
- Welcome and coordinate visits for executive guests
- Provide light office management support (mail, supplies, copier coordination, breakroom upkeep)
- Provide coverage for other administrative team members during PTO
Education & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives or C-level leadership within a financial services organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with particular ability to handle multiple calendars via Outlook
- Experience booking travel and hotel accommodations, managing expenses, scheduling off-sites.
- Professional demeanor with a strong client facing skills.
- Ability to handle any ad-hoc scheduling conflicts such as urgent client meetings or travel delays and cancellations
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to anticipate needs, problem-solve independently, and exercise discretion

Compensation:
The expected base salary range for this role is outlined below. In addition to the base salary, total compensation may include a discretionary bonus based on performance. This range reflects a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, education, and other qualifications pertinent to the position.
$100,000-$130,000
