Bilingual Educational Support Staff
LOCATION: Salina Public Schools
REQUIREMENTS: Must enjoy working with children. Fluency in English and Spanish, and ability to reach "Highly Qualified" status (48+ college credit hours or passing score on state approved exam).
DUTIES: Assists in translating/interpreting verbal and written communications for the purpose of assisting students, teachers, parents and/or community members in communicating effectively.
Tutors bilingual students individually or in groups, in various related assignment for the purpose of reinforcing learning concept.
Translates/interprets documents and materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties.
SALARY: Starting at $15.40-$16.34, depending on experience.
