Residential Coordinator

Position Overview: Responsible for carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the daily operations of the group home. The Residential Coordinator will provide staff supervision, staff schedule changes as needed, and leadership in Quality Improvement efforts. The Residential Coordinator will ensure compliance with all standards and regulations of Licensure, Medicaid Waiver of Virginia, HIPAA, HUD and RACS Policies and Procedures, and will oversee and monitor programs and activities of the group home. This position is responsible for the overall medical and financial care of the residents within the group home. The incumbent reports directly to the Residential Program Manager.
The Residential Coordinator will serve as on-call Coordinator for each of the homes on a rotating schedule. On-call duties will begin at 4:00 pm during Monday – Thursday and end at 8:00 am. On-call duties will begin at 4:00 pm on Friday and end at 8:00 am on Monday.
The position requires the incumbent to be able to function independently with normal supervision; exercise sound judgment; possess excellent skills in conflict resolution, problem solving and motivational techniques. The incumbent must observe professional standards of confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
- Experience with Adult DD Population required, or
- Must possess the life experience/skills and knowledge to successfully perform position requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays to meet program needs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively
