Structure Summary

This position reports directly to the Executive Pastor of Ministries and works closely with all ministry leaders, pastors, and support staff. This Full-time position is divided into Two(2) roles: Administrative Assistant - Ministries and Northshore Christian Church (NCC) Staff Member.

 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for: Providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the Executive Pastor of Ministries. The individual in this position will work closely with the Executive Pastor of Ministries to support the various ministry initiatives, streamline processes, and foster effective communication within the team in all aspects of NCC's vision and vision culture.

Essential Functions

  •       Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Executive Pastor of Ministries.
  • ·    Co-labor with the Executive Pastor of Ministries to strengthen and support NCC's ministries and ministry teams.
  • ·    Manage NCCA's room reservation system.
  • ·    Participate on Communications Team to provide clarity around upcoming publications, events, etc.
  • ·    Plan and coordinate all church events such as: Family Fall Fest, Upper Room, and Family Christmas events.
  • ·    Plan, coordinate, and administrate church and staff events/retreats in partnership with Executive Administrator.
  • ·    Utilize NCC's database system (CCO) to create events, forms, and monitor process que assignments.
  • ·    Provide day-to-day administrative support across ministries as needed (i.e. meeting and event planning, running background checks, budget tracking,  scheduling Zoom calls, etc.).
  • ·    Provide back-up support to Executive Administrator in the planning of all church events.
  • ·    Plan and execute weekly staff lunch for ministry team
  • ·    Serve the general population as NCC’s receptionist. Advance church & academy partnership.
  • Maintain effective communication with all employees to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing organization goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience
  • Two years of church staff experience desired
  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA), or two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
