    Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a Music and Drama Teacher at Chippewa Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.    

    Mission

    Qualifications:

    1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.  3.  Experience as a middle school teacher is preferred. 4. EL endorsement is preferred.

    District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
