The Shift Manager will provide a wide range of duties to provide exceptional service and support to guests and staff. The Shift Manager is responsible to ensure the effective working of their team over the course of a work shift while working with Restaurant Managers and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manages Team Member performance. Delegates tasks to Team Members, sets targets and goals to keep team members on track.
• Delegates in a manner that encourages teamwork. Directs, trains and motivates Team Members at each workstation during shift. Provides guidance and counseling to Team Members, as needed. Sets example for work ethics, accountability.
• Responsible for restaurant operations (labor, inventory, variance, guests, opening/closing restaurant) during assigned shifts. Provides payroll, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and training assistance to Management as needed.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and industry guidelines. Maintains a safe working environment for all employees.
• Provides production direction to Team Members. Works with others to achieve store goals performing Team Member duties and providing hands-on assistance. Upholds company policies and standards and sets example for smooth production.
• Orders and stocks supplies. Receives and checks deliveries. Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed.
• Ensures Guest expectations for food, service and cleanliness are met. Acts on guest feedback and resolves customer issues in a timely and friendly manner.
• Completes checklists and procedures for cash reporting, inventory control and scheduling during shift.
• Identifies and reports violations of safety, sanitation, security and other company policies to restaurant management. Puts short-term solutions in place while issues are being rectified.
• Prompt and regular attendance on required shifts. Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
