Island Psychiatry is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist for high-level forensic evaluation and report-writing work on a 1099 basis.
This opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist with strong clinical judgment, a professional temperament, and comfort with technology. This is intellectually serious work that is compensated at a higher compensation than typical clinical care.
Prior forensic experience is not required. We are open to psychiatrists who are bright, disciplined, analytically strong, and capable of producing clear, organized, and defensible work. Training, structure, and a report-writing framework will be provided for the right candidate.
This role offers the ability to do substantial professional work in a more flexible format, including remote report-writing, while building a valuable additional income stream outside of traditional patient-care hours.
