Job Description

Job Title: ​Armleder Teacher - UE Social Studies and 6th grade Christian Studies

Reports to: Armleder Principal

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Job Description:

Educate elementary aged children, creating an engaging environment in which students thrive and learn.

  • Responsible for all instruction in classroom, including care and nurture of all enrolled students
  • Able to communicate effectively, possessing developed verbal and written interpersonal skills
  • Able to assess the social emotional, academic developmental needs of the students
  • Plan engaging/creative appropriate instruction for the students
  • Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively, developing positive relationships with CHCA staff, administrators, parents, and students
  • Able to integrate Christian principles into the student's learning experiences and nurture their faith

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Middle School Social Studies
  • Experience working with elementary and Middle School age students
  • Current Ohio teaching license with PK-6 certification
  • Strong Christian background
  • Two years of experience preferred as well as experience with Responsive Classroom and Leader in Me curriculum
