🪥 What You’ll Do
As a Dental Assistant at GSCH, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, supportive experience for our patients by:
- Being a calm, friendly presence for patients before, during, and after treatment
- Assisting dentists and hygienists chairside during dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining clean, well-stocked operatories
- Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with the NH Dental Practice Act
- Performing delegated dental assisting duties per scope and protocols
- Ensuring strict infection control, sterilization, and safety standards
- Managing supplies, equipment, and patient records
- Supporting scheduling, patient education, and administrative needs
- Collaborating with a passionate team dedicated to community health
✅ What You’ll Need (Must-Have Qualifications)
Basic chairside dental assisting experience is required.
Candidates must have prior hands-on chairside experience to be considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- CDA certification preferred but not required
- NH Radiology certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered mindset
- Experience working with diverse or underserved populations is a plus
