About the Department

Summary
Performs inventory maintenance duties, assists with shipping and receiving duties and assists in ensuring that the service needs of all JCC customers are met in an expedient and timely manner by performing the following duties.

Position Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists with annual inventory of equipment 
  • Assists with coordination of surplus equipment
  • Assist with coordination of awarded surplus disposition
  • Assist with site visits and equipment inspections
  • Assist with tagging equipment 
  • Receives, distributes and warehouses equipment, supplies and materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

Education Minimum:   High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 

Experience Minimum:  Three to twelve months experience in shipping and receiving field.

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills                   
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.   

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 
  • Current driver's license.
