Job Description

AmpThink, a leading provider of integrated technology solutions for the sports and entertainment industry, is seeking a seasoned General Counsel to join our executive team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary legal advisor for the company, overseeing all legal matters and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This is a strategic role that requires a proactive approach to risk management and contract negotiation, partnering closely with various departments to support business objectives.

As General Counsel, you will provide legal guidance on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to contract law, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law, and litigation management. You will also represent the company in legal proceedings and work alongside external counsel when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to senior management and other departments on a variety of legal issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including vendor and client agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting the company.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and coordinate legal strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company’s business strategies.
  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact the company’s operations.
  • Oversee the handling of all litigation and dispute resolution processes.
  • Manage employment law matters, employee agreements, and policies.
  • Participate in corporate governance and provide counsel on compliance matters.
