- Develop and implement a clear vision and philosophy for the district's athletic and student activity programs
- Recruit, supervise, and evaluate athletic coaches.
- Coordinate and schedule athletic contests, transportation, officials, and facility use.
- Ensure compliance with all district policies, NJSIAA regulations, and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Oversee athletic program budgets, equipment inventory, and purchasing.
- Ensure alignment between athletics, physical education, and student activities
- Work collaboratively with school administration, guidance staff, and athletic trainers to support student-athlete eligibility and well-being.
- Coordinate athletic events, including game supervision and site management.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, coaches, and community stakeholders.
Represent the district at league meetings and athletic conferences.
- Valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate or Principal Certificate
- Valid New Jersey teaching certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in education
- Demonstrated experience in athletics, coaching, or athletic administration preferred
- Knowledge of NJSIAA regulations and interscholastic athletics administration.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Position Overview:
The Hasbrouck Heights School District seeks a dynamic and organized educational leader to serve as Athletic Director for Hasbrouck Heights High School.
