Job Description

We are looking for a caring, dependable, and nurturing live-in nanny to join our family in Roanoke, TX. This role includes a private room and meals, but more importantly, it offers the chance to become a cherished part of our home. We hope to find someone who can be a gentle, motherly or grandmotherly presence—someone who brings warmth, patience, and comfort into our children’s daily lives.

You will be supporting the care of a newborn and a toddler, helping create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where they can grow and thrive. We are searching for someone who sees this not just as a job, but as an opportunity to truly connect with our family.

Relocation to Texas is a requirement as this is a live-in role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, loving, and consistent care for a newborn and a toddler, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
  • Create a nurturing, structured, and engaging daily routine, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and age-appropriate play or developmental activities.
  • Foster emotional support and a loving environment, serving as a motherly or grandmotherly figure for the children.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating dietary needs and preferences.
  • Manage bedtime routines, including reading, soothing, and ensuring restful sleep for both children.
  • Assist with light household duties related to the children, such as laundry, tidying play areas, and organizing children’s belongings.
  • Support early learning and developmental milestones through interactive play, reading, and creative activities.
  • Accompany children to appointments, playdates, or outings, ensuring their safety and comfort during travel.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about the children’s routines, development, and any concerns or milestones.
  • Maintain a positive, patient, and calm demeanor, fostering a sense of stability and reassurance in the household.

Compensation

  • Live-in position with private room and meals provided
  • Competitive pay based on experience

If you are compassionate, dependable, and excited to become part of a loving family, we’d love to hear from you.
