Ipswich Public Schools is seeking a long term substitute custodial position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Candidates must be able to perform all the duties associated with the custodial position, including, but not limited, to the following:
- Cleaning, Washing, Sanitization of entire school grounds such as bathrooms, classrooms, offices etc.
- Mopping, stripping and waxing of various flooring systems
- Vacuuming, shampooing and cleaning of rugs
- Moving and assembly of furniture and equipment
- Handling of trash, recycling and composting
- Perform School grounds and building health and safety checks
- Perform School grounds and building security checks
- Perform minor maintenance including painting, repairs, changing bulbs etc.
- Perform minor fields and grounds maintenance as needed
- Must be able and available for snow removal and other events which may require over time
- Must be able to handle various equipment such as but limited not to the following:
- Floor Machines
- Snow Blower
