Job Description

Responsible for inspection of construction projects locally and federally funded in Indiana. INDOT certification credentials of Certified Technician and INDOT Site Manager are preferred, but not required. Locations include NW, SW, SE, and Central Indiana. 

  • Record keeping of project events and project quantities

 

  • Contract document review and interpretation

 

  • Site inspection of the work for compliance with the contract documents

 

  • Materials testing

 

  • Organize and participate in project meetings

 

  • Efficient in Word and Excel

 

  • Exhibits company values of honesty, professionalism, consideration, dedication, and accountability, at all times

 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.  College degree in related field is preferred, but not required

 

  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License

 

  • A strong understanding of Algebraic concepts is required

 

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

 

  • Ability to follow company QC/QA procedures

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes outdoors, and some physical exertion may be necessary.
