A Non-governmental higher education institution in Kosovo has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer to serve as a Fundraising and Income Generation Strategist. The Volunteer will collaborate with local organizations to strengthen institutional capacities in resource mobilization, strategic fundraising, and international partnership development, aligning efforts with European standards and global best practices.

The Peace Corps Response Volunteer will work closely with organizational leadership and staff to design and implement comprehensive strategies for securing international funding, enhancing donor engagement, and building sustainable financial models. This includes developing tailored fundraising strategies, identifying and responding to international funding opportunities, and supporting proposal writing and project management training. The Volunteer will also contribute to the alignment of internationalization efforts with European frameworks, facilitate strategic planning sessions, and mentor staff in partnership development and advocacy. Through targeted capacity building, the Volunteer will help organizations diversify funding streams, improve grant competitiveness, and foster long-term sustainability.

BA/BS degree in business, economics, management or other relevant field 5 or more years of experience working in an NGO or a donor-driven organization.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Specialized expertise in prospect/donor identification, grant writing for the non-profit or international development sectors.
