Description

Celebration Pediatric Dentistry is a busy, patient-centered pediatric dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a fun and welcoming environment. Our team works closely together to support our families, patients, and providers—and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to help keep our revenue cycle running smoothly.


The Role

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for managing insurance billing and accounts receivable for the practice. This role plays a critical part in ensuring claims are processed accurately, payments are posted correctly, and outstanding balances are followed up on in a timely manner. Pediatric dental billing experience is strongly preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Post insurance payments and checks accurately to patient accounts
  • Review and work insurance claims aging and accounts receivable (A/R)
  • Submit dental insurance claims electronically and via paper when needed
  • Follow up with insurance carriers on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
  • Review EOBs for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure proper documentation and coding to support claim submissions
  • Communicate with front office and clinical teams regarding billing issues
  • Maintain organized, accurate billing records
  • Support month-end and reporting needs related to billing and A/R
     
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous dental billing experience required (pediatric dental preferred)  
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, EOBs, and claims processing  
  • Experience working claims aging and A/R  
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills  
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities  
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills  
  • Experience with dental practice management software preferred
