Days/Hours: Various - outside of school hours
Time Commitment: Year-round, part-time
Current Students - 15 years of age or older
Description: Community Education Program Staff support a variety of programs offered through Community Education. Staff assist with program operations, participant supervision, and activity support while helping create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Specific duties and work locations vary based on program needs, staff interests, and qualifications.
Job Summary:
Community Education Program Staff work as part of a team to support the successful operation of Community Education programs. Staff are responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful environment, engaging positively with participants, and following program procedures and safety guidelines. This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and a willingness to support a variety of age groups and activities.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current student in good academic standing
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Enjoys working with children, youth, and/or community members
- Responsible, dependable, and professional
- Able to follow instructions and program expectations
- Comfortable communicating with participants, families, and staff
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn new skills and complete required training
