Overview
The Delivery Coordinator works with Sales and Operations management and supervisors to coordinate, organize, and execute all routing functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary functions associated with daily routing
- Work with Sales representatives and managers to ensure all batch times are met
- Work with Warehouse management to ensure work/orders are available
- Work with Delivery and Sales management to maintain and improve routing templates
- Ensure all geocodes are accurate
- Work closely with sales reps to ensure all orders meet delivery requirements
- Support management investigating truck shorts and loading errors
- Assist admin personnel scheduling and loading dunnage and other returns
- Work with Sales to assign all at-risk Inventory to predetermined accounts
- Attend safety meetings and complete all training as assigned
- When necessary, assist Operations with pulling and loading orders
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Must be able to lift between 40-50 lbs. daily
Preferred Qualifications
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in warehouse software, and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Proficient in warehouse equipment
- VIP and other VIP Integrated Software proficiency (RoadNet, WebTL, Bev on the Web, VIP Legacy)
This role requires regular, ongoing in‑office presence. Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management."
