Summary
Private Credit Analyst is responsible processing of day-to-day credit workflow on behalf of their clients. Private Credit Analyst responsibilities consist of processing the daily data feeds from Virtus into VPM, posting credit activity into the accounting system, reviewing pricing feeds and resolving issues with credit activity differences on accounting team cash reconciliations with appropriate parties. This position will require regular interaction with internal stakeholders, agent banks, loan admins and other related credit parties.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Review daily pricing feeds from credit pricing vendors to ensure proper import into Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM)
• Escalate pricing issues with IT and vendors
• Review daily FIS Virtus data feeds into Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager’s (VPM) LDCC tool and process activity to Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM)
• Process credit activity on behalf of clients into Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM)
• Perform PAR reconciliations on client credit facilities
• Liese with internal stakeholders, agents and Virtus to resolve credit activity related discrepancies
• Assist with client and internal requests related to building credit operations workflows
• Ability to multi-task between different tasks, clients and internal demands throughout the day;
• Continually updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; internal company and team trainings; maintains personal networks; participates in professional development opportunities and;
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• 0 –3+ years’ (relevant) experience in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred;
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with knowledge of Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM) a plus;
• Ability to multitask, time management, attention to detail, planning and problem-solving skills required;
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and oral communication with current and potential clients;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle/manage multiple team and individual priorities and deadlines.
