Coral Hospitality, one of the top management companies in the hospitality industry, is currently searching for a hardworking Hostess for the Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club located in Cordele, Georgia!

This is a seasonal position.

Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins and 82 camp sites located on beautiful 8800-acre cypress lake with restaurant, bar, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with a lake restaurant, 18 hole-golf course designed by Denis Griffiths, hunting preserve, fishing and more.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a . This role is essential in providing exceptional service within our food service or hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, bussing, food handling, and customer service, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Buss tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean environment for guests
• Handle food items safely following proper food handling procedures
• Assist with catering events or special functions when required
• Maintain communication with team members to ensure smooth workflow and guest satisfaction
• Support kitchen staff with basic tasks during busy periods

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality industries is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
