Description: The International Security Specialist (ISS) is multidisciplinary individual, with security expertise in Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) Security Operations; Personnel Security (PERSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Communication Security (COMSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Cybersecurity (CYBER) operations. ISS provide CONUS and OCONUS international security support to our Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries with expert advice in all security functional areas allowing our Partner and FMS countries to enter multibillion dollar defensive partnerships with the United States

Responsibilities:

The ISS is responsible to ensure that all appropriate international policies and procedures are updated in accordance with pertinent U.S. Government regulations, policies, and procedures. The ISS will provide tasks that include but are not limited to:

 

  • Providing multi-disciplined security guidance and mentorship to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionals as coordinated with Government security leads.
  • Developing and conducting Country Security Manager training.
  • Conducting F-35 security classification reviews.
  •  Coordinating OCONUS and CONUS courier missions and develops transportation plans for the secure transportation of classified material.
  • Providing continuous evaluation of F-35 Partner and FMS security posture and provide written updates.
  • Assisting F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in developing country-unique security documents to ensure protection of F-35 assets at the appropriate level.
  • Assisting JPO Security Team with developing and staffing country-unique security documents.
  • Coordinating with JPO cybersecurity and foreign disclosure professionals and the Program Security Officer (PSO) staff on all pertinent security matters.
  • Planning and leading security conferences, symposiums, and security working groups with Partners FMS countries to resolve complex International Security issues.
  • Providing International Security support at various testing events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
