About this role:   

Fuse is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Lead Test Technician to join our energetic and growing team! This is an opportunity to work closely with production, quality, and engineering in a pivotal role to delivering Fuse’s solutions to warfighters. In this role, you will lead the production loading and testing of all Fuse systems. Fuse is an innovative, design-driven environment that delivers elegant engineering solutions.

What you’ll do:   

  • Schedule and execute test activities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. 
  • Mentor junior technicians on proper test methodology and practices. 
  • Serve as the liaison between engineering and production to incorporate new test procedures, fault isolation and root cause analysis. 
  • Document test procedures for new products during productization phase.  
  • Perform verification and validation of production test procedures.  
  • Diagnose, fix, and troubleshoot complex technical issues in systems or components. 
  • Install and maintain test equipment, fixtures, and software. 
  • Enforce proper lab practices and protocols, including ESD, FOD control and tool control.   
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to assist in trend analysis and design improvements. 
  • Improve existing system/subsystem level test procedures through redline and change order processes.  
  • Collaborate with production and engineering to improve test processes, rigor and workflows.  
  • Completes technical assessment of company products and customer RMAs, to include PCBAs and electronic components. 
  • Perform test set-up and test execution of various product and product lines. 
  • Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
