    Hours/Day:  Up to 5.25 hours/day

    Start Date: ASAP

    Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting.  The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.  

    Days/Year:  173 days

    Salary Range/Hourly Rate:  Per the Transportation Contract.  $28.00/hour

    Description: 
    Performs semiskilled work driving a school bus, picking up and delivering students to/from school, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Transportation Supervisor. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable an individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    Education Required
    High School Diploma or GED. 

    Experience desired/Special Requirements: 
    School Bus license required.
    Experience in working with children, reading maps and driving a school bus.  Potential hires must either have a class B license with a school bus and passenger endorsement or possess the ability to acquire one.
