Food & Beverage FOH Supervisor - Winter 2025/26

Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, NH is seeking a Food & Beverage Front of House (FOH) Supervisor for the Winter 2025/26 season. The supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and hospitable dining experience across all resort dining venues, including food courts, restaurants, food trucks, kiosks, special events, and group functions. This full-time seasonal position runs from November 1st to mid-April with a pay rate of $22/hr.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily operations of food service outlets, including pre-season planning, staffing, opening/closing procedures, facility cleanliness, inventory management, staff scheduling, and guest relations.

- Directly supervise FOH team members like Servers, Bartenders, Cashiers, and Hosts, ensuring operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

- Implement internal controls to minimize shrinkage and loss; conduct regular inventory counts and prevent theft through strategic actions.

- Collaborate with the management team to forecast business volume and coordinate service accordingly.

- Maintain a strong sales and service presence to drive revenue and uphold outstanding guest service standards.

- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (OSHA, Health Department, etc.) through proper training and monitoring.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor�s degree in business management or culinary arts preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in restaurant/food services in recreational, hospitality, or multi-concept environments.

- Experience in opening new restaurants is a plus.

- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and Microsoft Office programs.

Scheduling:

This position requires 40 hours per week, with the resort open 7 days a week during peak periods. Candidates must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Alternative flexible scheduling options are available.
