About the Role
We’re looking for a Dispatcher who goes beyond the board. This role not only coordinates freight but also builds strong relationships with drivers.
This position blends dispatch operations and driver management. You will be responsible for keeping freight moving efficiently while also supporting driver performance, communication, and compliance.
We are open to candidates with prior dispatch or logistics experience, as well as motivated individuals who have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in transportation and operations.

What You’ll Do
Dispatch & Operations
- Assign daily and weekly loads based on driver availability and route coverage
- Monitor driver locations, load progress, and on-time performance
- Communicate load details, expectations, and updates in real time
- Troubleshoot delays, breakdowns, and customer issues
- Maintain accurate dispatch notes and system updates (TMS/ELD)
Driver Management & Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned drivers
- Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate schedules, home time, and time-off requests
- Verify load details such as locations, hours, and parking before dispatch
- Address driver concerns and escalate issues when needed
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with sales and operations to ensure smooth execution of freight
- Communicate proactively to prevent service disruptions
- Support a positive, accountable, and driver-first culture
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in dispatch, logistics, fleet, or driver management or a recent graduate with a strong interest in transportation and operations
- Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations and HOS compliance (or willingness to learn)
- Familiarity with ELD systems, TMS platforms, and load boards is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
