PPI Quality & Engineering is looking for a qualified Inspector to support supplier and vendor inspection activities for Coriolis Flow Meter equipment in Boulder, Colorado. This role is focused on witnessing critical testing and inspection processes to ensure full compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and industry requirements. The ideal candidate has strong experience in vendor inspections and a solid understanding of instrumentation and testing procedures.
- Witness calibration processes for Coriolis Flow Meters
- Witness Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) and configuration processes
- Perform final visual inspections, including verification of Ex-nameplates and certification documentation
- Witness hydrostatic testing in accordance with applicable standards
- Witness PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing
- Ensure all inspection activities meet customer specifications and quality requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to execute inspection plans effectively
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and client representatives
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in supplier/vendor inspection activities
- Familiarity with instrumentation, flow meters, or similar equipment
- Understanding of calibration and testing procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Coriolis Flow Meters or similar instrumentation
- Background in QA/QC, engineering, or technical inspection
- Knowledge of PMI and hydrostatic testing methods
- Relevant certifications in inspection or quality control (preferred)
