As a Health Advocate for MedDefend, you will meet with our members to provide coaching and advisement on their healthcare journey to assist getting a diagnosis quicker.

MedDefend is on a mission to end misdiagnosis. We combine advocacy and AI to cut down on patients healthcare journey, leading them to a diagnosis quicker.
We are seeking compassionate and knowledgeable healthcare professionals to join our App to support and coach our members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet with our members to assess their current needs and where they are in their healthcare journey, provide coaching on how to relay their symptoms to doctors, what tests they should ask about, what specialists would be beneficial for them to see
- Provide ongoing support for members as they receive test results, doctors notes, etc and assist in making sense of them
- Interact with our communities by posting, commenting and interacting with other advocates and members
Job Overview:
- Advocates being hired now are a part of our first cohort for our Alpha Launch this is a contract role to start with potential to onboard to our App once it's launched
- Pay: $300 for 10 member meetings completed
- Hours: Flexible, you set when you are available to work
- Timeline: This is an 8 week trial period
Who you are:
- Part time nurse/travel nurse
- Retired or part time physician
DISCLAIMER: You will NOT be diagnosing during these appointments. You will not need to be licensed in all states to participate, you will ONLY be coaching and answering member questions. This is not a telehealth setting.
