SALARY                                                       
Commensurate with certification and experience based on the Wicomico County Certificated Salary Scale.  Includes employee benefits package.

HOURS
Full time 10-month position (190 contract days). 
Contract Unit:  This position is part of the Unit I (Certificated) bargaining unit.
FLSA:  Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be certified or licensed by the state of Maryland.
 
Experience with AAC devices.

Ability to communicate effectively using the English language when deemed necessary.
                                                                                   
RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication skills of students.
 
Develop goals and objectives in the area of speech, language, and communication.
 
Work collaboratively with IEP teams.
 
Participate in IEP meetings.
 
Provide appropriate intervention in area of need.
