- Serves as a mentor to each athlete to promote development.
- Gives attention to a student athlete's grades and conduct.
- Supervision at all practices, games, and while traveling.
- Provides training rules and any other unique regulations of the sport to each athlete who is.
- Assists in the completion of paperwork on all athletic injuries on proper forms and submits to athletic office within 24 hours.
- Helps organize parents, coaches, players and guests for preseason meetings.
- Responsible for maintaining good public relations with news media, booster club, and parents.

DHS Assistant Football Coach
Salary dependent on experience
Extra Duty Salary Schedule: Category 11, Step 1: $4,515.00
JOB GOAL: To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills and strategies of football. Build positive relationships with student/athletes to promote character development, discipline, and skills and confidence with the sport of football.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS: Must Have PTSB Coaching Endorsement
* Offensive Line experience preferred
