As a senior legal counsel, your role enables you to provide strategic legal advice in connection with any legal situation that may be encountered related to the development, publishing and marketing of videogames and immersive experiences, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision, international growth, and innovation goals.
The legal counsel will report to the Head of Legal Services, and will closely collaborate with the business and operation teams at Behaviour. If you thrive in a flexible, team-driven fast-paced environment with varied tasks, this role may suit you.

In this role you will:

Coordinate and manage requests addressed to the legal team.

Manage the contract process through an automated contract management software (CLM).

Draft and review various contracts and legal documents.

Develop and maintain templates and precedents for legal documents.

Keep corporate documents, books, registers, and insurance files up to date.

Support operational teams and contribute to the improvement of the legal team’s tools, processes, and special projects.

What we're looking for:

AEC or DEC in Legal Techniques (Paralegal Studies).

2 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Office 365, and DocuSign.

Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, and a proactive mindset.

Knowledge of corporate and commercial law, contracts, or experience in the entertainment industry (an asset).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.

Dans ce rôle, vous devrez :

Coordonner et gérer les demandes adressées à l’équipe juridique;

Tenir à jour les documents corporatifs, livres, registres et dossiers d’assurances;

Soutenir les équipes opérationnelles et contribuer à l’amélioration des outils, processus et projets spéciaux de l’équipe juridique.

Ce que nous recherchons :

Détenir un AEC ou DEC en techniques juridiques;

2 à 5 ans d’expérience comme parajuriste en cabinet ou en entreprise;

Maîtrise de Microsoft Office, Office 365 et DocuSign;

Sens de l’organisation, gestion des priorités, souci du détail, capacité à mener plusieurs dossiers à la fois et esprit d’initiative;

Connaissances en droit corporatif et commercial, contrats ou expérience en divertissement (atout);

Excellente capacité de rédaction et de communication en français et en anglais.
