Following an internal move, we are looking for a Global Regulatory Affairs & Market Access Team Leader reporting to the Phileo Compliance Director.
Within Phileo's Compliance department, in an international environment and in a context of growth, you drive global regulatory strategy and market access for Phileo Business Unit.
In this role, you will lead a team of experts and play a key role in enabling new product development and international expansion by ensuring regulatory compliance, accelerating registrations, and shaping market access strategies worldwide.
Your main missions are as follows:
Strategic regulatory leadership
- Define and implement the global Regulatory Affairs & Market Access strategy across all species and regions
- Drive regulatory roadmap, priorities, and registration pathways aligned with business objectives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and anticipate evolving frameworks
Regulatory operations and execution
- Oversee preparation, submission, and follow-up of registration dossiers by the team (feed ingredients & additives) worldwide
- Ensure timely approvals, renewals, and label compliance across markets
- Manage regulatory databases, reporting, and prioritization processes
- Support product launches by aligning regulatory timelines with commercial and supply needs
Stakeholder engagement and influence
- Act as a key interface with authorities (e.g. European Commission, EFSA, FDA, AAFCO, MAPA, etc.)
- Contribute to advocacy and lobbying actions in collaboration with industry associations (e.g. IFIF, FEFANA, AFIA, etc.), together with Phileo Compliance Director, Group Regulatory Department and Public Affairs manager
- Communicate regulatory progress to leadership and internal stakeholders at BU and group level
Project and cross-functional collaboration
- Contribute to innovation, development, and multi-sourcing projects
- Conduct regulatory gap analyses and define timelines, resources, and costs
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, Strategy, Industrial, Legal, and Corporate teams
Team management and leadership
- Lead and develop an international team France and abroad (currently 9 people)
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and talent development
- Oversee KPIs and reporting to Compliance Director
As part of your missions, you are the privileged contact for several Phileo and Lesaffre group services: Compliance, R&D, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales departments, R&D, production sites, Group Regulatory Affairs department, etc.
Qualifications:With a scientific background and technical expertise (ideally a PhD level in the field of animal nutrition and health or DVM), you have at least 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs in the animal nutrition and/or health sector. Experience in authorization and renewal requests as feed additive in the EU is a plus.
You have demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams in an international environment. You bring strong project management capabilities and are able to drive cross-functional collaboration across complex organizations.
You also demonstrate excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
