Construction Assistant Foreman (On-Site)

About the Role

We�re looking for a reliable, hands-on Construction Foreman to join our team and oversee day-to-day field operations for our projects. This role is ideal for someone who isn�t afraid to jump in and work alongside the crew while also coordinating tasks, maintaining safety, and keeping the project moving efficiently. You�ll be the on-site leader who ensures work is completed to quality standards and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

� Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.

� Perform basic carpentry, demolition, concrete work, and other hands-on tasks as needed.

� Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and effectively.

� Load and unload materials, move equipment, and maintain organized work areas.

� Support trades by performing labor-intensive tasks to keep production moving.

� Communicate daily with the project manager regarding progress, needs, and issues.

� Plan and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.

� Monitor jobsite safety and enforce company safety policies.

� Inspect work for accuracy and adherence to plans and specifications.

� Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.

� Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and basic documentation.

� Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

� 3+ years of construction experience; supervisory experience preferred.

� Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and equipment.

� Ability to read and interpret plans is a plus.

� Comfortable performing physical labor in various weather conditions.

� Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

� Valid driver�s license and reliable transportation.
