Summary
Jefferson West USD 340 is seeking dedicated and adaptable individuals to join our team as a Daily On Call Substitute Teacher. The ideal candidates will provide instructional support and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of education and fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere for students.

Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure students' learning objectives are met.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional activities, including recess and lunch.
- Provide support to students with diverse learning needs, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding classroom activities and student progress.
- Complete daily attendance and any required documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with school staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
- Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all students.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
- Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching license in the state.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and manage diverse student needs.
