    The Academy of Science and Innovation seeks a team oriented and innovative Temporary School Counselor who will be responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive developmental guidance program for grades 6-9. The successful candidate needs to be a team player with the ability to assist with development and monitoring of student 504 plans, FBA's/BIP's and as well as staff and parent consultations, contact with community providers, and individual, group and crisis intervention work. Counselor will also assist with scheduling and programming for all students. Experience with PowerSchool, Response to Intervention and Positive Behavior Support initiatives is preferred. 

    Requires Master's Degree in School Counseling or related clinical discipline plus experience in an educational or clinical setting. CT State DOE certification also required.
