The Project Manager helps bring teams together and keep important initiatives moving forward across departments like IT, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Facilities (FAC), and other business areas. This role is a great fit for someone who has experience leading projects, organizing events, or improving processes even without a formal project management title and is excited to step into a more structured project leadership position.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate projects across IT, Supply Chain Management, Facilities, and other departments
- Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and task tracking
- Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure alignment across teams
- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive solutions to keep projects on track
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners/vendors as needed
- Support implementation of new processes, systems, and operational improvements
- Maintain clear documentation, timelines, and communication throughout project lifecycles
- Contribute to improving project management practices and team efficiency
Must Haves
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating projects, initiatives, events, or process improvements (no formal PM title required)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Effective communication skills across teams and levels of the organization
- Ability to take ownership and drive work to completion with minimal supervision
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders or departments
- Experience leading events, programs, or large-scale initiatives
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions
- Attention to detail and ability to track timelines, tasks, and deliverables
- Comfort leading meetings and following up on action items
- Proficiency with common workplace tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes
Nice to Haves
- Background in implementing new processes, systems, or workflow improvements
- Exposure to IT, Supply Chain, Facilities, or similar operational functions
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana)
- Understanding of project management concepts (timelines, milestones, risk tracking)
- Experience in fast-paced, multi-department environments
- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or external partners
- Informal leadership experience (team lead, committee chair, initiative owner)
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Interest in pursuing project management certification (PMP or CAPM)
