The Westbrook School Department is seeking an Alternative Education Teacher at Westbrook Middle School for the school year 2026-2027.
Westbrook Middles School is seeking an Alternative Education Teacher. We are looking for a candidate with Alternative Education experience. This program will provide instruction through interdisciplinary units, so team teaching experience and interdisciplinary instructional planning experience are preferred. Many of our alternative learners are seeking engaging relationships with teachers who understand the need for trauma-healing education and social-emotional learning. The successful candidate will be organized, data-driven, detail-oriented, dynamic, self-starter, creative, motivated, life-long learner, patient, positive, supportive, and kind.
