ROLE MAIN PURPOSE 

Will be responsible to oversee the collection, analysis, and presentation of data related to IT operations, projects, and initiatives and working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design reporting solutions, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. 

 

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the analysis of IT-related data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyse complex datasets.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate key IT metrics and performance indicators.
  • Apply statistical analysis and data modelling to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and requirements.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive reporting framework for IT-related metrics and performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates, formats, and schedules.
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and ensure timely delivery of reports.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data used for reporting.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess IT performance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyse IT service levels, system availability, incident response, and other performance indicators.
  • Identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations to optimize IT operations and processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to establish performance targets and monitor progress towards achieving them.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support IT decision-making.
  • Establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures for IT-related data.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement data quality controls, data cleansing, and data integration processes.
  • Oversee data management activities, including data integration, data warehousing, and metadata management.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies, reports, figures, and budgets of IT reporting and analysis department to ensure adequate staffing levels aimed at contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of Kidana. 
  • Set performance management objectives based on IT reporting and analysis KPI’s and performance targets for all reporting team members and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
  • Direct the identification of talent for pivotal roles in coordination with the Human Capital Department from a succession management standpoint.
  • Take decisive action to ensure speedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts among team members.

 

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

 

Professional and Technical Certificates: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), BI certifications, Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Cloudera Certified Data Analyst (CCDA), Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, PMP are preferrable. 

 

Professional Experience: Minimum 10+ years’ overall, 5+ as IT data and analysis leadership role.
