About the Department
Under general supervision, the Utility Equipment Operator participates in the construction, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems and infrastructure by operating various types of construction equipment.
Position Duties

Minimum Qualifications
Work is performed throughout the City at utility treatment facilities and work sites. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, potentially dangerous tools, equipment, and machinery, noxious fumes and odors, electrical and traffic hazards, and inclement weather conditions. May be required to work in confined spaces, climb in and out of trenches, and lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds. |
