Coaching & supporting a team of engineers for electro-mechanical design & development
Coordinate and define the different activities within your team, according to the priorities and competences of each one in your team
Good written & verbal communications skills and the ability to work well with others in a professional team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, to support frequent customer meetings and pursuit related activities
Analysis, application of appropriate tolerances using geometric dimensioning & tolerance principles
Motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills to support engineering team members
Vendor coordination & management
Client management through weekly project review calls.
Experience Required:
Experience on all stages of product development life cycle
Problem-solving, generating new design ideas and assist team in engineering calculations
Experience in 3D CAD software package. Creo, CATIA and SolidWorks preferred
Knowledgeable in Tolerance stack up, GD&T, DFMEA and DFMA
Good understanding of plastic, sheet metal and casting domains
Thermal/Structural FEA analysis would be added advantage
Competent with the analysis and selection of engineering materials and processes
Knowledgeable in static structural, dynamic structural and thermal analysis techniques
Familiarity in the packaging of electronic systems
Familiarity in structural and thermal management design
Education
A Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
